Vernon: first of all unless someone was a great welder you should be able to tell by all the brackets. i can find no where that a 80 rearend will bolt up under your car. i don't have 64 info in any of my books but i do know 64-67 chevelle rearend will bolt under your car. 68-72 will too but the are

Guys , maybe someone can help me out. On my 64 El Camino I'm trying to find out what the rear end came out of. My friend says it not a 64 but an 80 model as someone has written 80 on the rear end cover with one of those yellow markers used in junk yards. It is a 10 bolt posi. I wonder where
