Ain't no bushings in tie rod ends, they're steel on steel joints.

Other than the anti-sway bar, I don't think there are any bushings
again which way should I go?

What other bushings in the front,Dan? For what you spent on that GW

Thanx Clint...I will do that...Its not so much the hard ride I am

arm bushings still in the package..???

My front end is completely polyurethane...Haven't tried it out yet...Still
have the fenders and what not to put back on...I Did alot of detailing this
year and the front end rebuild was much easier with the inner fenders and
the fenders removed...

Hi,
Has anyone ever used the urethane in just the front of the rear control
arms and rubber on the axle ends?

It's your car and you can do what you want,John. I would use rubber. Do a
search on poly bushings over at Team Chevelle. Pay particular attention to
Dennis68's posts as he is a suspension guru and really knows what he's
talking about when it comes to A-body suspension design.

Poly bushings don't make a car ride much harder,if any. What they do is bind
up the articulation of the rear suspension enough to make one think the ride
is harder. Bind isn't good. New rubber bushings work just fine.

Thanks for the response, Wayne.
Yeah, see I'm the kind of guy who loved the "harsh" ride of my Corvette and
my Springer Softail (this was before the Twin Cam). I just prefer it. To
me, it is all part of the experience.
But now I'm wondering about what another reply stated, where he mentioned

Poly in the rear will cause a lot of bind in the A-body four link. It's not
so much a hard ride but they tend to screw up the handling.
Solid motor mounts will transmit a bunch of vibration through the
car, especially the passenger compartment. Ditto for solid trans mounts.

H&H Custom,
I see a lot of people recommend against using polyurethane bushings in the
rear. The same goes for solid motor & transmission mounts.
The question I have is - how harsh is the ride with these things? Is it
Corvette-harsh? Is it rigid-frame Harley type harsh? Or is it rigid-frame
Harley on a poth
