The bearing was not dry. It was greased and working, but the inner race was stuck to the spindle. I think the thing is that when you have a car that has been sitting and you change the bearings, you should clean the spindle w/ emery cloth and put some anti-seize or at least some grease betw

Went to install new front brake shoes and found that my inner wheel bearing was stuck to the spindle. Here's the short version... Tried to pry the bearing off, which caused the bearing to fall apart Bought the biggest pair of channel lock pliers I could find, heated the inner race w/ a propa
