Maybe 68 was the first year for single piston calipers but you could get
a dual piston caliper in 67.

I don't know but the spindles from a 71 Monte Carlo fit my 69 Chevelle Malibu.
It's my understanding they do...very popular item for factory disc brake
swaps.
