I am glad she did well with her spay. That's great news! She will whine

IMO, it might be better to choose an adult Chi or at least an older puppy so
that you can know what their personality and temperament are like. If you
choose a young puppy, make sure you meet the parents of the pup and see how the
puppy was raised (and socialized). If there are a few to choose

I don't know about the poop.. But I do know that Ginger should NOT be eating
cat food.. It is too high in ash content.. ( i think that is it) and can
cause kidney problems down the road.. My vet was very clear about this and I
finally broke Tia of the cat food habit. I found some fish dog food toda
Some Chis can make good lap dogs and make goog travel companions (depending on
their personality and how they are raised). They are small enough, that's for
sure. Every breed has their pros and cons, though. I would research the breed

First I would switch Ginger aka Hoover to dog food. Cat food is
specifically made for the nutritional needs of cats, that differ from what
dogs need. It has a higher fat content than dog food which could lead to
pancreas problems, weight problems, and health problems in general. I put

I don't think the Deter will hurt the cat or kittens but in the long run the
cat food will hurt the Chi - it is too high in protein and calories and is
formulated for the nutritional needs of cats

Yours is pretty funny too. Years ago, my daughter would walk our English

woods. Well, she would insist that the squirrels would peg her with acorns
from the treetops! Your answer reminded me of that. She was only about 6,

Cat food is not healthy for dogs at all. They are a different species and have
different nutritional needs. What I would do is feed the cats and kittens up
high where Ginger can't reach it or in a different room than her. And feed
Ginger her own dog food. And, that way she will get the nutri

Ginger has that same nasty habit. She gets the cat's poop out of the
litter box, either eats it or leaves it for me to find w/my foot. I
found Deter at my local PetSmart for under $20.00. My question is this,
the cats, kittens and the chi eat out of the same bowl, they are all
