Hi all,
I still have to just read all my email at once in this cold room.
I got my computer back via UPS today and I opened up the box and the
documentation pretty much said nothing was wrong. I immediately got on the
phone to Geek Squad and the gal there suggested that I take it in to the

LOL I wish she would stand - I set her down & she shivers and falls over. She
just stays there until I pick her up...I guess the chilly weather doesn't help.

Most pet insurance does not cover the vaccines or spaying/neutering. When I

It sounds like you have Desi's twin sister. Desi would not walk on the
leash...but it might have been part of the 'never been outside before' problem.
I put his leash on and he would just stand there. My neighbor was about four
squares in front of us and he wouldn't go. I thought it might be

I have never bought the pet insurance. You would have to see what is available
in your area, and compare the prices and coverage. I have also heard it is
better to take the money you would spend on the premium and put it in a savings
account. Then, If/when you need it for vet bills, it is the
Hi Beth, we have a few people who have insurance on their pets. I had it and
cancelled it-fought every claim (and I bought the insurance on my Liza when she
was 8 weeks old). I agree; however, it's personal preference, but none of the
people I know personally have it.

I know nothing personally about the pros and cons of pet insurance. I
just recall from reading posts that some people think its worth it, others do
not. So, it boils down to a personal decision.

Hi Lynda,
I have found with one of our boys that if I just let him out or carry him out
and set him down, he just stands there shivering and looking pathetic.
However, if I put a leash on him and walk him around the yard or down the

Yes, if you google it you can see a picture. It is a square plastic frame
with a second piece of plastic inside which has holes in it and then a layer of
fake grass. Dogs use it and the urine drains down to the bottom, feces stay on
top and can be picked up and disposed of as needed. I take
