I think that except for pictures on this group, I have never really seen a
long-hair Chihuahua. I know that I have seen Emiliano's photos, but never
one from behind. OK.Here it goes.Do you ever have to clean the fur on
I would imagine it is a little harder to assess his body without his fur. His
body is probably very svelte.Do you ever take a picture when he is having
his bath?

How cute. I am holding Dolly and when I watched the video Dolly was doing
little growls. Although I couldn’t hear any puppy noises, she must have heard
something and was trying to respond.

Technically it's called a Skirt. The hairs that stick out on the ears are
called Feathering. Then fur on the front of the chest is called a Mane.

Dolly turned out weighing more based on her 8 week weight. The day after I got

Oh..I know exactly what you are talking about. Dolly doesn't tolerate much,
and when she is not feeling well she is even more intolerant. Yesterday was
a good day here; this morning is trying my patience. She went running

Oh, OK, now I remember meeting Scout, with the sweet little face I brush

Those charts don't always work. My little guy was a half a pound at 8 weeks, I
was told he would be no more than 3 lbs at maturity. He is now 3 yrs old and

couple of pounds, she said he was not fat.

It is still a personal decision. I agree with you, I am just saying that is is

there should be licensing, inspections, limitations, etcto keep that

I think that it is not a personal decision. That allows uncontrolled breeding.
I would like to see licensing of breeders, inspections of their facilities,

Hello,
We adopted our long coat Chi, Scout, earlier this summer. He has very fine,
silky hair that is a single coat. Although it is very shiny it can get a
little frazzled looking at the ends. Do any of you have a favorite brush you
like to use or a shampoo or rinse?
