I also should have added that it isn't safe to let a puppy free when you are
not there to keep a close eye on him. To many things that they can
get into, like chewing electric cords, getting into cabinets and eating
chemicals and what ever else is around the house are all dangerous for an

Hi
Well 3 months is a very young puppy and most are not totally housebroken
that young. You can choose to block him in a large area, making sure the
pads are far from his bed and feeding area and still give him enough room to
romp around. Some people buy the puppy playpens, or you can just set up
At 13 weeks, he should not have the run of the house. You need to get an
x pen for him, that will hold his bed on one end and pee pads on the other
end (use a pad onto which you have sopped up some of his pee, so he can
smell it and know that's where to go). Keep him in there while you're g
Hi there, I recently got a 13 week old Chi named him Bandit. He was doing
extremely well with the peepad training and I felt I could leave him as I go to
work.. Well recently he's been peeing everywhere! Its so frustrating. I do not
want to kennel him all day while away at work but I feel I migh
My Chi eats raw, 80% meat 10% bone raw only, never ever cooked bone, 5% liver,
5% other organ. He has been raw fed for over a year and does wonderful on it!
No point in feeding plant matter to dogs, they cannot digest it, it simply
passes through and lays on your grass. My raw fed Danes poo a

Yes canines are carnivores but still need

Peanut butter is his least favorite, however, he will eat it on a tiny piece of
bread and spit out the pill. Some times he will swallow and walk away, then
when across the room, out comes the pill. I have to watch him closely.

on some grass . In the wild , carnivores
eat herbivores , who eat only veggies so they
get it that way too . They eat the bones

My girls LOVE liver strips in the food dehydrator. But the smell drives my
husband out of the house! It's a 2 day process so I make them when he is
out of town!!!\
Just slice the liver in strips (don't need any spices) and rotate the trays
every few hours.
Thanks Peggy!

dogs don't need veggies, then again
I read it on one website that offered a recipe for making food. It was the
first one that popped up under the web search. It said that they still need
vitamins and trace minerals to supplement the meat and rice and eggs with
shells. That was the main ingredients in their 'easy' recipe.

I did research too Peggy, and became very confused. The reason I'd like to
cook for Rocco is because of so many dog food and treat recalls over the
years. I had a family member who lost a beloved pet because of a tainted pet
food. There are quite a few recipes online but for huge amounts of food. I
