I weighed my purse one day at a doctors office...6.6 pounds. I knew it was

lining and all my change and other things were hidden under the lining.

I don't care for this style. I tried one once, my little girl held her tail
funny for a while after being in it. I found the type they snuggle down into
along with a safety leash in it to work best for my dogs. I have one that is
made of mesh for plenty of air flow, great for hot weather, and
I like this one also although it might be better for me if the straps were
thinner and tied so they were adjustable and didn't make me hotter!
