I purchased a male chihuahua when he was 5 months old in December. He
never liked my husband or son and still tries to bite them. He's great
with me and my 2 daughters, but appears to be afraid of men. Does
anyone have this problem? He's driving us all crazy with his barking

with us;However, he's tried to nip a few times when you try and catch
him. He went from wanting to be held to now wanting to play on the
floor. He'll come to you, but then back away. A few times he has

from this group was not to get him during Christmas, but before or
after. Well, we just picked him up today. My husband drove 4 hours

Thanksgiving will be more busy for our family than Christmas, so that
was a good point about waiting until after. Besides, that's when it
starts feeling like Christmas. I will pass on these concerns to my
husband and hope he agrees.

Hello Again~
I will be getting a Chihuahua puppy and the one that I'm interested in
is a male. I've always had female chihuahuas, but have had other
breeds that are male. Does anyone have an opinion on either gender
good or bad? He will be neutered between 5 and 6 months of age.

I am a new member of this group and have a question. I have always had
chihuahuas, but my last little girl passed away 2 years ago due to old
age. My daughter would like to have a chihuahua for Christmas, but I
found one from a great breeder that is ready to go home now. Our plans
aside once the novelty wears off.

would
certainly recommend getting the pup early. I would wait till
after
Thanksgiving though, because there is a lot going on during this
holiday as
well.
