I think a lot of it has to do with the support they recieve from the companies, such as being part of the breeder program, ect. For instance, I feed my pregnant/nursing momma's and puppies puppy chow. So I am a member of the puppy chow breeder programthey send me samples and care guides ect to

Eukanuba makes a very fine, almost granular weaning puppy food that is very easy to feed, so a lot of small dog breeders use it. I used to feed Eukanuba but they are same company as Iams, and their test animals are not much better treated than the puppy mills - live entire lives in cages - or used

In the Dog Fancy and Cat Fancy magazines when you see the breeder sections they all have a note in the picture ads that say they only feed their pups Eukanuba. I'm curious... is Eukanuba the BEST pet food out there and that's why they feed it or is it just a trend or the 'in' thing to add that?
