Not all the rescues have such tight standards. The one we got our first rescue
from NEVER asked if our lab pair were intact. I actually allowed them to call
my vet and they didn't ask them either. So when she did a home visit and I fell
instantly in love with our Chibbie she said no deal because

the people that I know who do cat rescue are also breeders. Are there any
other rescure groups on yahoo that you could join?

I agree, I don't believe in letting dogs and cats stay un-neutered unless they are worthy candidates for improving or maintaining the high standard of the breed but how else are we going to have worthy new generations. Or don't they want their kids and grandkids to have pets? lol Annamarsha T
SOME rescue people really feel strongly about "no breeding". I'm on the
fence. Some should be/could be bred, some not. What happened if
everyone stopped breeding? I know that would never happen - but
I DO spay/neuter ALL rescues that come thru my program prior to adopting
them. I do not

have been kicked off of my yahoo animal rescue group. After Honey died and I
mentioned he was my stud (thus I am a breeder), they lashed out at me talked
about how BAD I was for breeding, ect and kicked me off the group. I wond
