I would really like to see the status bubble expand for larger URLs. In my
opinion,
showing more URL text is far more important than any minor aesthetic

How about replacing the url in omnibar? Well, with additional style to show

I second that request, as a web developper it's a pain in the ass :
I often have to know which parameters I have in the url.
