Verified in 0.3.154.12 (Official Build 4978).
Now, I can notice German language for

-Austria
-Germany
-Switzerland

The minimal (very trivial and low-risk) change was made in the trunk
*without ICU
data change (r4425)* . I nominated the trivial change for 1.0 merg

In the long run, we may consider changing the UI for language selection
menu with
two lists (one for languages and the other for regions or scripts)
