I downloaded the latest version (which I had) but I did a new download and

Some times the screen simply goes dark

I have a similar problem. PDF's simply don't load. I'm using Adobe Reader
9.0.0
The Adobe reader works fine with IE7 and Firefox 3.0.4
The only screen I see is , eventuall
