Hello Phyllis, Terje and Andrew
Thanks for testing!
I have some experience with rpm-based systems. Why does dnf select the i686
architecture in the first place? On Debian based systems, apt selects the
original architecture of the system by default.

Thanks Terje ! works much better now once I installed the x86_64 version,
which should have been automatic in the first place.
Sorry Andrey for my dumb mistake -- it installed from the build farm and
works just fine -- I just wanted to test it.

Maybe a stupid question, but as you have suil-0.10.18-1.fc38.i686 installed:
Is this 32bit lib just just added to 64bit or a base 32bit (i686) Fedora OS?

Updated the Manual on your Build Farm (only in GIT until 11/30 when it will
be updated online) to reflect changes and information that I just noticed.

Yes, It should be 20231125, but Ubuntu build is failed, so I rebuilded it
manually only today.
You can take rpm from 20231125.

Dependent on the available build capacity and resources of course, a
good practice has been to support stable distro releases as long as they
have long time system support (LTS). However new approaches and changes
continue.

It is really important to have packages available on the latest releases as
soon as possible so that people who do have to keep the O/S upgraded, have
some packages available right away. And as you already know, there are only
so many partitions available to use for the operating systems so

Hi Andrey,
Thanks a lot.
I have done a test installation on my Leap 15.5 ultrabook here on
GranCanaria and thought I would report back my installation result.
On beforehand I had two older Cinelerra appimages and also two rpm
builds installed, 2022 and 2020 (10bit)
ls -1 ~/Applications
Perhaps for Arch you can do without building the package, since it is
already in AUR.

I.e by shortening and simplifying the previous Cin-GG package list to
the newest (current) release of each distribution, there may be seven
left to maintain:
1. arch
2. debian
3. fedora
4. leap
5. mint
6. slk
7. ub
Great work!
Perhaps prepare packages for the most commonly used distros. E.g.
Ubuntu and Fedora...

I will suggest to add openSUSE Leap 15.5 among the distributions.
A first test of the current rpm package dependices:
nothing provides 'libIlmImf-2_2.so.22()(64bit)' needed by the to be
installed cinelerra-5.1-20231008.x86_64
Leap 15.5 provides libIlmImf-2_2.so.23()(64bit)

This is very much appreciated as there are some definite advantages to
having packages as opposed to the appimage -- in my opinion the most
beneficial is the ability to get the updates applied automatically when
there is a new version available (if enabled by the user).
I assume it is OK for me
