The audio problem is most likely to be a signed/unsigned issue - I had a
problem with
E, thanks for elightenment.
No problem. My case is particular since I use Coriander to feed in TIFF
files via V4L.
Having the possibility to work in TIFF floating point gives a new
dimension to color grading for super8mm.
I just hope guys from Lumiera will keep this option opened.
i have
E, thanks for elightenment.
i have tried once with a dv camera and got hopelessly stuck,
so maybe i was too general in my condemnation.. sorry.. :-/
and as cinelerra once started as an audio application (broadcast2000)
maybe it is possible to record audio-only too, who knows.

May I disagree about recording ???
;-)
I use V4l as my input to grab individual tiff files.
Works like a charm..
Having said that I do not have any soundtrack to record as well.

I detected the value in VLC, using Ubuntu Intrepid.
I had issues too. i am not sure wether the fault is in k3b
or hardware or growisofs or in the dvds or somewhere else.

Mind K3b,
I had all sorts of issues to get a DVD to play on a standalone player
later on.

The list is very very much for technical discussions of core
developers only, therefore
janos, this is perfectly normal. in detail:
0. look twice at the name. cinelerra. :-)
1. no one is able to record with cinelerra. use "dvgrab" instead,
or "kino" if you have a powerful computer.
2. don't worry. once you get the recorded material into cinelerra,
it is a powerful program. o
