I noticed some other people looking for it on irc too. Has it been
down all this time?

Hi,
I know there is a template for the gimp. I've used it in the past, to
print onto dvds and it worked out very well.
http://carol.gimp.org/GIMP/scripts/convenience/templates.php looks like the one.

How about simply "openvideo"? This would match the somewhat
established #openvideo irc channel on freenode and libopenvideo sounds
sufficiently like a developer list (in my opinion) anyway.

Yes, indeed.

Another idea was thrown around previously about having a user centric
site with profiles containing portfolios and details of projects
members have worked on, tools and techniques they used etc. The idea
would be that e.g. an editor would have their work there and other
users could comment and ask
As has been mentioned on the list previously, there are already a

There has been some discussion lately regarding the Cinelerra CV
website and now seems like a good time to take action. The current
site has served us well. We have lots of well written and maintained
multilingual documentation (much of which is derived from the wiki), a

It's not really what you're asking but I just heard about xjadeo

it would be a very powerful soluti

That's a really generous offer and much appreciated. I am concerned
that there isn't the time for it now though. Do

Hi Marquitux,
That sounds really interesting. I tried searching the mailing list and
online but failed to find the project. Could you add some links

I hadn't heard of it before but http://blip.tv (rather than blib) does
support ogg and seems to be a very cool alternative to youtube and
google video, I stumbled across a demo of exporting directly from kino
to blip.tv, pretty nice!

Hi Javier,
I hope you haven't given up yet. I'm not sure why this isn't working
for you but the first thing that comes to mind is to transcode all
your source material to dv. That would rule out any codec issues. I
think ffmpeg, mencoder or avidemux will do this for you, or possibly
also opening i
Hi Federico,
I suppose you saw it on the wiki:

I just tried it out myself and the following works for me:
export LANG=it_IT LANGUAGE=it_IT
then run cinelerra from the same shell
It looks like some parts haven't been
Hi,
The symptoms sound very much like what you get when you use ALSA
without "stop playback locks up" checked. If that doesn't work there
are lots of other things you could try but the quickest way to get
help may be to ask on the irc channel.
A couple of things to try:
1. close cinelerra, rename

Hi,
I don't know if there is a way to exclude the master node from the gui
but you could always run a batch rendering process from one of the
other nodes and not include your editing machine in the render farm. I
gather you would just need to let it have access to the project EDL
file.

That's a generous offer Jeroen! I am wondering though, if it would be
more effective to have a "planet cinelerra" to aggregate related
blogs/youtube vide
ld be
significant. You could try with DV and motion-jpeg to see if they are
any better.
Which effects are you using?
