I added the repository (by following the instructions from the site) and
tried to install cinelerra from synaptic, but I get the following errors.
Is there a way I can fix it and get it to install?

I must be missing something.
I've installed cinelerra and I've tried to import a video file by
selecting load files from the File menu.
Isn't that the correct way to import a video file and use it as a video
clip?

Cinelerra does not recognise the .flv _container_, but it can
