Briefly, take a single 1.0 test including CCNA,
you'll be CCNP 1.0. In order to be CCNP 2.0 all tests need to be

allow some perios of time after 7/31 (like a year) to retake any 1.0 tests
with the equivelent 2.0 test to c

Hey Group,
It's kinda rare that I write to the group. I'm one of the silent ones who
just takes interest in reading the Q & A's that are presented. I get a little

"Fast switching on the same interface is disabled") so now the question is:

Does anyone know how to setup a /32 bit subnet mask(ex:255.255.255.255)

I'm trying to find out the performance implications of using secundary IP
addresses on an ethernet interface (configuring "layer 3 VLANS"). From the
looks of it, it seems packets are process switched... Anyone know about
this? Any help would be appreciated.

Well, Cisco does have HP Hub in the product line. Page 133 January 2000,

This looks like it is from Whirled-Routers. If so I can vouch for the
guy. I know him from the Cisco User group in Southern California.
He always tells everyone what to look for in buying equipment while
never touting himself as the best place to go.

you are talking bridging at layer 2 and routing at layer 3. If you want to
bridge ip (layer 3 protocol), then you must turn off ip routing on the

your hosts must be in the same bridge-group and subnet. If you don't turn
