Sorry if this hits twice.
When someone on that router types in CONNECT a menu will be displayed. The
'text' is what's displayed in the menu so they would see...

If they type in a 1 it will execute the command associated with 1

Maybe looking in wrong location. Make sure that the console ports on the
other routers aren't hung or mis-configured. I've had 'questionable'
response doing this from time to time and it's normally the remote route.
