Anyone know that the default password would be or any factory installed
passwords for any model?

be a registered CCO user to get the password recovery utility. I cant see
how to become one outside of becomming a cisco employee!! Any ideas???

What is the proper key stroke combination to send a break command under
hyperterminal? Or what other terminal emulation program will do it? I have
net term and procom plus also.

I have a new 2800 swtich. I just got a console session going. However, I now
see that there is a password prompt. Doy ou know of a way to get around it?
Is there a "clear" jumper inside maybe?

I have tried several serial cables. I can connect to other cisco equipment
fine. My terminal program says it is connected but no response from key
strokes. I move the cable to a router and hit enter and I get a login. I
move it back to the switch and nada Any ideas. I did try a null modem
cabl
What kind of cable do I need to connect to the console/aux port from my pc
for programming?
