I am taking CID next week, and so far for my preparation, I have been
studying for SNA and Appletalk as well. From my understanding, both topics
are included.
anyway, good luck for your exam, and do let me know if SNA and Appletalk are
excluded.

I agree with Priscilla.
I don't think it's an ARPing problem.
Try using the extended PING command to make sure you ping from the correct
interface.
Also, you can try checking the ARP entry for the 3COM router on the Cisco
router to see if there are any changes before and after the PING
conn

what you can try is to use a RJ-45 cross-cable and connect directly to your
laptop and try to manage it via http.
You'll probably also need to console in first, to make sure that your AP and
your laptop are in the same subnet to communicate.
