I took the 640-901 on Aug 15th and it was tuff for me. A lot of BGP, OSFP,
and ISIS questions. I think I also had a couple EIGRP questions. There
were a few lengthy route configuration simulations as well as a few
subnetting/VLSM questions.
What books are you using to prepare for the test?
Hey
You need to run Enterprise Basic IOS image for IS-IS. Here is the output of
show ver on a 2620 in my lab:

also gave me some problems as
well as VLSM simulations.
I was surprised I passed! Two more tests to go, Remote Access and Support.
I think Ill start studying for Remote Access. Any suggestions for what
books to get?
Thank

After making some changes to my config to enable support for H.323, I was
still having issues when i was logged in via VPN using 3.6.2 client. I
finally figured out that the Cisco 3.x client does not support H.323
(Netmeeting). Here is a MS TechNet article, although kind of old:
Hi
I've been looking around Cisco's website and can't find any examples of how
to set up IPSec in Tunnel Mode between a CVPN 3.x client and a IOS router.
Anyone have a config they can post

Finally got Netmeeting to work both directions. A user on the internal
network can initiate and call and a user on the external network can
initiate a call successfully. I had to use a static NAT mapping.
All is well but now when I introduce IPSec, only the external clients can
initiate a call. I
I got Microsoft Netmeeting to work through a 2620 w/ NAT
in a lab environment, but just for the internal clients. I can get a user on
the inside network to initiate a NetMeeting session w/ a machine on the
outside network and it works fine. If I try to initiate a session from the
outside to the
Hi

Ive been reading up on OSPF for the BSCI test and am confused as to what an
OSPF Host Route is. RFC 2328 refers to OSPF host routes as Hosts attached
directly to routers. Is host route a route to a host? Am I missing
something?

I had a similar problem w/ some older Netware 5.x servers and a new HP
Procurve 4100gl switch. When I would set the speed/duplex manually on the
switch to match what the NetWare server was(100/Full), it was painfully
slow. When I set the switch port back to auto, everything was fine. The

I have a Cisco CSS 11050 content switch that I cant get into with a
standard console cable. I did a little digging on Ciscos web site and
found a field notice regarding the CSS-CONSOLE-KIT.
