can't you just route map to ethernet on the local router?
this should send all traffic for the destination network out
that interface regardless. it makes your routing table look
like everything is directly connected but at least it works

Support book only. The test kept stuck to the outline

by Cisco. The Exam Cram covered all the necessary
subjects with enough detail to pass. $18 at
bookpool.com.
Looking back at the course outline questions were

The book from McGraw Hill is fuul of errors. Starting
on page one. The second edition had fixed some errors
but still there are too many to list here.

I had this same problem on a connection and what I found was the other end
was set at 56 and my side was default at 64. Went I set the line speed to
match all was well.
interface serial 0
service-module t1 timeslots 1-24 speed 64
or
service-module t1 timeslots 1-24 speed 56
