Actually, you can have more than just the 255 or 1 in a wildcard mask.
Try to remember that the wildcard mask bits are the exact opposite of the
subnet mask bits.
For example: In order to block a particular subnet in an access list,
131.111.8.0/21 for instance, would require a wildcard mask

I'm not sure why, but I just can't seem to grasp the concept of variable
length subnet masks (I think it's the lack of sleep lately..)
Anyway, if anyone would be so kind as to please explain this concept for me,
I'd greatly appreciate it. I understand IP addressing, subnets and
