In the All-in-one ccie study guide by Giles, he states on page 141 the three types of LLC implementations. In the chapter he talks much about LLC type 1 and type 2, but I don't see when LLC type 3 (acknowledged connectionless) would be used. Anyone know if type 3 LLC is used and, if so, where I

On page 553 of all-in-one ccie study guide, second edition, question 25 states: There is one designated router per: a) workgroup b) area c) ethernet segment d) autonomous system The author lists the answer as (c) ethernet segment. I'm a little confused, because I always thought that you need one

So here's the scenario...Numerous routers in a central site connected to other remote sites via frame-relay with backup ISDN. Question: What is the best way to implement EIGRP in this scenario? My thoughts were to run EIGRP over the frame, set up the dialer interface / bri as a passive interface
