I think this would be great. I would also think focusing on a certain
subject topics
would be valuable too. Reading does not always make sense and sometimes
hearing it from
someone else helps it make sense. Make sense. :-O

I can remember in the old days when experience was more important than certs
and having
certs was a plus.

Any News on when Cisco may fix it? I was planning on take the CID test on
Wednesday.
Is there another test I could take to get the CCDP?

Do the exams you are most comfortable with. The routing exam is the one my
friends had
problems with but I didn't because of my experience. The exam that gave me
much pain
was the Switching exam. The exam crams worked pretty good for me.

Hi all,
I just took the CCDA exam and it really sucked! The boson exam did not
help at all and i have all of them. Lucky for me I still passed. The
Cisco press helped but doesn't cover most of the areas. Most of the
test was just reading, understand and assuming what should be done. .
Now,
Is there any new books or old books out there for the CID exam?

Try floating static routes. FYI, Frame-relay circuits can cause this same
problem.

Are your systems connected by any type of punch down blocks. I have
experience may of
these errors due to crosstalk (like Priscilla stated) caused by bad punch
down blocks.
The only way i was able to see the sources causing the problems was with a
lan fluke.

Try getting the Boson exams for the BSCN and do better than 90 percent,
plus read the
exam cram for the BSCN before you take the test.
Good luck.

I would also recommend the Interconnections Bridges and Router book written
by
Radia Perlman.

What do you all think about the CCIE Sybex study guide by John Swartz
and Todd Lammie? Also, is there anyone serious about the CCIE written
in the riverside, orange county area in Ca that would like to study.
