You can only do this on a 2600 10/100 ethernet series router. Not available on
a 2500 series. 10 half only...

I agree with you but have taken this a step further. If you have 802.1Q tagging
applied to interfaces, Standard ports will not know what to do with it because
it is tagged special (unless we are talking vlan aware / hybrid ports, then they
take on both ends of the world in switching.) Th

I have also purchased 3500 equipment and have found that the current
12.5.2.XU vers of the IOS has worked well with clustering and command line
as well as web based commands and setups including 802.1q. We have even
setup a mock lab and have not seen any issues. We will be introducing the

I was swaping boot proms between rtr's that I have for my study and bent
one of the pins to where it broke off. Does anyone have a set of spares
