You are correct that it creates only 1 PQ. As for the second point, you bring up a good scenario where the PQ gets filled up and the rest of the high priority traffic gets dropped. I never thought about it before, and I guess it just falls into a design category. Either plan for worst case scena

It definitly works, but I've always been told to use 1 priority queue for voice, then CBQ the SNA and video and WFQ with WRED on the rest. They say voice is most important because it has the highest human perception, and humans will notice bad voice before bad video. Steve ""John Neiberger""
