I'm about to purchase some 2500s from the US, to use in Australia. Are
there any power conversion issues, as US uses a 120V, and we use 240V over
here.
I've taken a look at Cisco's website, and the papers there say that it will
auto-detect the voltage, or something like that.

You shouldn't. I've plugged them into 200V supplies and not had a problem.

No problem
We are bying 2500 in Norway and installing all over the world without
problems.
Korea, Singapore, India, Egypt, Portugal, Venezuela and other contries.
2500 series has been proven to be wery stablke for us.

When you order your routers for Australia specify Australian power leads or the might
come with the round earth pin. Not only do you waste leads but also cost yourself
time traking Aussie jobies.

Yes you can just swap out the DC for the Ac or vice versa. Not to sure of
where you can get a cheap supply though!
