According to the book written by Karen Webb on page 65 it states that passwords on Cisco Swtiches using the Cisco IOS CLI AREN'T case sensitive, while passwords on the Cisco Switches using the set/clear CLI don't. I've tried this out myself and it seems to be both case sensitive. I've tried it on
