It's really not that hard to convert back and forth between hex, dec and
binary once you learn how to do it. If you really need a convertion chart,
then sit down and draw it on the writing

For Decimal number 255, I think it's a better idea to use binary as the
bridge between Decimal and Hex.
(It's more likely that these numbers seldom appear in the exam).

Yes, best one to use is the calculator on windows. In Scientific mode, type
in Hex or Decimal or binary or whatever and then click on the other, and
that's it
