Not to point out the obvious, but you do not need a CCNP to get the "security" title. There are also exams for "cable specialist" and "SNA/IP". Cisco is coming out with more specialty exam, so stand by. Most of them you do need a CCNA/CCDA, accordingly. Yes for CCNP+Security, you would need a CCNP
