When the hold-queues get filled I expect the
interfaces to go down/up because of keep-alive
failures .
( on the tokering you can safely test this by putting
on the 'debug token event' )

What version of code are you running, feature set, what protocols are running on
the box. If you have a CCO account, you may want to look at the bug toolkit, I
would almost bet that you are running 12.0.4/5T and you are also running IPX.
