I do know back when the QOS options were more limited and if a router was dropping packet on it's input queue or output queue one remedy would be to increase the hold queues. But to make use of these queues you would have to process switch as fast switching does not utilize the queues as it has

If you're talking about LLQ, this is definitely not true. 'show policy int ' will show your queueing stats for a particular interface. If you have a queue assigned to a frame relay PVC, use 'show frame pvc ' to get those stats. John Steve Ridder 12/5/01 5:48:27 PM I have also been told

I have also been told that you cannot view your queue when fast-switching is turned on, and only can when process-switching is on. I highly doubt it, but maybe it's true. Is it? I can't see a relationship between the two, but maybe it's true. Steve Message Posted at:
