the 827 can do many things, including 3DES and firewall feature set, but supports only RIP and EIGRP --No fair, mine doesn't support EIGRP. Only RIP. The 827 looks like it supports all of the routing protocols but when you enter them it always reads unknown routing protocol. (Except for RIP.)

Cisco 1751 with ADSL WIC is the least expensive choice. If you play your cards right, you could pick one up on Ebay WITH the DSP chip included so that you could also play around with Voice Shtuff! Granted your port density isn't the greatest, but the NM-xx is quite expensive just to add extra
