If you plan on using Config Sync w/Sup2/MSFC2, make sure you're running at
least the 12.1(8a)E5, which fixes bugs (crashes) with this in the 12.1(7)E
series..

stable? heh...all cisco's code is stableas long as you are only running
one protocol per vlan(ok I'm bitter...sue me)
The best thing to do would be to go to the software d/l page and read the
change/bug fix log and see what they have fixed and broke in the
Running 12.1.8aE4 on several MSFCII's successfully, As always read
the release note and check the caveats against your network.

Our 6509 just a last week came with 12.8(1)E and we were real skeptical
of it because it was early release but has been running fine but only in
a test environment for now. I will let you know if we decide to stick
with it. What was wierd is both msfc came with 2 different versions on
them and
