the IOS your running. Also I wouldn't so quickly reload the router
before trying to reset the interface, do a shut/no shut and grab a show
tech and sh log.
MADMAN, no I didn't shut/no shut the interface, but that was definitely
something I should have done. However, you are correct about the NPE not
having ports. I was actually referring to the fe I/O controller on the
front. Sorry for the confusion.
