I am using Router Sim for my CCNP studies. The Simulator from Sybex is
exactly the same as the one from Router Sim. The reason one will see a
difference in their prices is because Router Sim will give you upgrades. I
had this confirmed from their sales rep (six months ago)

if you are a cisco employee, there is a way to practice without getting
your hands on actual equipment (that's what i am doing - am preparing for
BSCN at the moment)...
