In order to do this you would need a channelized port adapter. That would be like the PA-MC-8T1 adapters we use on our 7200 routers. Basically, they give you the ability to take a T1 and create multiple logical interfaces by grouping 1 or more DS0's together. Key terms are like: "Channelized T1

You need one of the following in a 2600 or 3600 (you can also get them as port adapters for larger routers). The configuration that you have right now is not going to work. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps2797/products_tech_note0918 6a00800ad36f.shtml NM-1CT1-CSU One-Port Channe

Looks like your best bet (cheapest) is a 2621XM with a: "NM-1CT1-One-port Channelized T1/ISDN PRI" I wouldn't go with a non-XM 2600 (other than the 2691) as they are EOL'd. Fred Reimer - CCNA Eclipsys Corporation, 200 Ashford Center North, Atlanta, GA 30338 Phone: 404-847-5177 Cell: 770-490-

Thank you all for the quick responses. I talked to Cisco tech support, and he said it should work, but I had my doubts (since he did not know what a DACS is). I suspected I needed to get a channelized card, and told him as much, but he was sure it would work with the config I supplied. Pooie! T
