where have you configured your T1 card??
your line will remain down until you configure the T1 controller.

In order to do this you would need a channelized port adapter. That would
be like the PA-MC-8T1 adapters we use on our 7200 routers. Basically, they
give you the ability to take a T1 and create multiple logical interfaces by
grouping 1 or more DS0's together. Key terms are like:
"Channelized T1
You need one of the following in a 2600 or 3600 (you can also get them as
port adapters for larger routers). The configuration that you have right
now is not going to work.

Looks like your best bet (cheapest) is a 2621XM with a:
"NM-1CT1-One-port Channelized T1/ISDN PRI"
I wouldn't go with a non-XM 2600 (other than the 2691) as they are EOL'd.

Thank you all for the quick responses. I talked to Cisco tech support, and
he said it should work, but I had my doubts (since he did not know what a
DACS is). I suspected I needed to get a channelized card, and told him as
much, but he was sure it would work with the config I supplied. Pooie!
