The repeater site should be configured as "Bridge_Only". This configuration
will disable the ethernet port. This is because the bridge will simply pass
radio signal, hence there is no need to pass data through to ethernet.
Again, make sure all you basics are correct (ie. SSID, Frequency, Rat
I believe Cisco's recommended solution for this is to use 2 bridges in the
intermediate
hop. BldgA -5Miles- BridgeA on tower ---Ethernet--- BridgeB on tower
3Miles BldgB.

Aironet does support repeating outside (bld-to-bld). What's the least
acceptable results are you looking for (2-11 mb theoretically)? If you need
the equivalent of a T1, you can try the high gain antennas. Even though
it's not LOS, you might be able to achieve some good results.
