hey listers!
anyone know a quick and dirty way to parse some info from the sho interface
command, like interface utilization, etc ? I tried that cisco tool, but it
only tells you what is possibly wrong not the interface utilization.

Well, I don't mean to abuse Howard's great phrase, but what problem are you
trying to solve? You say "parse" which makes me think you want to import
this info into a statistics utility which is an interesting question to
which I don't have an answer but someone else might.

Oh, and if your question was simply how to determine the network
utilization from the output of show interface, look for the load number.
The load number tells you the utilization as a fraction of 255. (255/255 is
a completely saturated network.) The utilization is calculated as an
exponential
