Albert,
I don't have a rack yet either so what I did was stack the routers on top of
eachother with books in between. I also made sure to leave the space
underneath the fan open for circulation.

tand alone- no holes in the floor) & though I paid a bit more, am very
pleased with it.
It's a big purchase, but it's a decision as to what direction your lab is
moving in.
