Fairly basic question I think, but as I've not had anything to do with
Newsgroups before this one, I don't know the answer:
I take it that if you subscribe, you send an e-mail which goes to everyone
who's subscribed, but if you don't subscribe, (ie. you just post to the

the exact opposite. I have this list and the tips/info/knowledge
gleamed for my CCNP. Icont to get tips and gain industry knowledge
by maintaining membership on this list.

well, for over 100 emails a day this list must be sharing something.
I don't recall your questions so I won't even theorize on why they weren't
answered.
However, one thing I will say, if your attitude is that the list owes you
answers then you should probably look somewhere else

It takes time to compose an answer. Time that often could be spent on one's
own studies. I generally answer questions from folks who are relatively new
to this field and need help setting up a home lab. Some questions come up
again and again. I don't always answer. Some questions indicate that

I went back and looked at your other messages. There were ALOT of
questions. Some were broad.. broad enough that a simple Google search
or search of Cisco's website could have found some answers.
