I have done a little work on Fore ATM switches more than a year ago. I think
the company has been swallowed up by a new enterprise called Marconi. Check
the web for www.marconi.com. Maybe their tech support can help you obtain
some documentation.
Winston.

Donald,
You can use this link to get to the Marconi web site. Create a public account
for yourself and you should have access to all of the product manuals.

Title: OT: Marconi (Fore) and Kerberos
Anyone know anything about using Kerberos authentication on ForeThought enabled Marconi switches?
I know that Cisco supports it, within their aaa new-model mechanism. Marconi's marketing info claims to be Kerberos compliant, but has anyone ma
Hello
Can some tell me the requirments for atm for the lab
I have the following 3640 ATM Support (NM-4T1-IMA) and the 3640 routers.
Are those cards any good to me,
Do I need an ATM switch or can I put this stuff back to back.
Any help appreciated.
Kind regards.
Paul
Anyone tried getting an ATM NIC on Windows 2000 to work with an Lightstream
100 and Catalyst 5000 LANE blade? I suspect Microsoft's lack of backward
compatibility in their Windows 2000 ATM implementation is preventing this
setup from working. I'm using a Marconi Forerunner LE 155 adapter.

According to the info on the CISCO's own web site ATM is not required any
more to pass, that is no testing on ATM.
Just do a search on CISCO WEB for CCIE requirements there is a list with
stuff:

I just got my hands on an older ASX200 (not the BX or SX version I have
worked
on). It has two serial connectors of a type I have not seen before... They
look like mini-scsi. Has anyone seen these before and/or know where I can
get
a connector for them. I checked on FORE/Marconi's website
Looking for a Cisco solution to replace Fore ES-3810's. I've looked at the
2912MF switch, but it doesn't have an OC-3 capability. Any quick fixes
here? Thanks!

The 2912MF and 2924M are both Modular switches. A number of modules are
available including OC-3.
