Hey guys,
Has anyone got any form of local L2 working on ASR1000?
Still seems broken in latest code I have and needed it for a customer.
By broken I mean MAC's are learnt inside bridge domain but on either
ingress or egress tagging is something unexpected. I still need to
confirm PCAP.
I was usi

Hi listers,
I was wondering if anyone out there has an example config of ISG L2 DHCP
subscribers with AAA controlled VRF membership. Happy to pay for it.
My next step is TAC.
I have a basic setup working with a dynamic VLAN interface and IP pool
working with auth to RADIUS.
What hasn't worked is
What's the port status?
Are there logs?

Hey guys,
I am trying to find out ballpark pricing on licensing/using Cisco NSO
(Tail-F NCS product).
If anyone can possibly share something around this please direct message me.
Cheers,
Mark

From memory when I last asked that question HCOS/HQOS was still an MX
only thing :(
That was why the ASR920's were so handy for me.

Two benefits I can think of:
Label distribution without having to worry about LDP or LDPv6.
Easy TE cases without having to worry about the state that comes with
RSVP-TE.

That sounds like what I experienced in ASR920 land recently with bad
packets filling up interface input queues causing a wedge.
When it happens check the interface input queues and save the output.
The resolution for us so far has been tight CoPP with discards, iACLs, and
the like to only allow t
TAC have come to the rescue and provided the images manually.
Thank you for the replies.

Hello C-listers,
I have an ASR920 that was bought refurb and I am currently jumping
through the hoops to get support but due to it still being under the
previous owners name it's probably going to be painful/drawn out.
I was wondering if anyone could ping me with a download for the below
image or
Thanks everyone. I am going with the 15.2 train.

Can anyone recommend a 15.x release for these devices? The device is only
doing BGP + OSPF with a small amount of connected routes.

Thank you.

Hi listers,
We have a 7200 with NPE-G2 that has happily acted as a border router for
around a year. We are only using the onboard interfaces.
On Sunday night the device randomly rebooted and the reboot cause shows as
"System returned to ROM by error - a Software forced crash, PC 0x6FC26C"
from "s
Oh my.
It's part of the VTP specification. "VTP frames being sent over a distance of
20 light years will be dropped at random."
Or they are just the same as any other frame :)

Zabbix discovery templates and the BGP4 mib will achieve exactly what you want.
Or if you have an existing monitoring system that supports SNMP polling the BGP
mib will give you the data.

Hi listers,
I was wondering what software images people are running out there in the
wild on the ASR1000 series and what versions are recommended for stability.
The company I work for is about to receive some Cisco ASR1002 units with
ESP5.
The boxes will be used for border routing (3 full intern

You can also use a tool like nprobe to add in the AS data and push it on

Another solution may be to use Mod_Proxy for Apache and proxy off requests
to virtual machines behind the proxy HTTP server.
There is an example on this page:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/vhosts/examples.html
ProxyPreserveHost On
ProxyPass / http://192.168.111.2/
ProxyPassReverse / http://19
