Bas,
My experience over the last 10 years has been very good.
With a run rate of 20-40 parts a month.
They will ship from outside country if needed. But it is important
that the priority of the case is correct. Depending on your operation
you could have a P1 TAC case and then logistics raise a P3
I think I have hit this before. What version of code are you running and I
will check my old
cases for a Bug ID.
If its the bug I think you are running a 7600 and SR code.
Thanks and regards

Hello,
Does anyone know of a tool that will take in a show tech or show ver and
check against
the Cisco released vulnerability notices and also the EOL notices ?
I am looking for an offline tool that does not need access to the kit to
perform the audit.
Thanks and regards
Kevin
There is always a Duty Manager available to escalate faults.
They are non technical but there job is get you the support
you need in critical situations. In the 10 years I have been
dealing daily with the TAC I have spoken to them may 5
times and each time they have done the business.

I would love to hear from anyone using HP NAS in a MSP/Multi tenant setup

I have and it still doesnt show up in a show mpls forw however when
I dug deeper
show ip cef and show ip bgp labels was showing them.
No idea why. It does for eBGP learned routes with a label but not iBGP
learned labels.
Its ipv4 only routes no vpnv4.

Having a strange problem with IPv4 and send-label. The topology is the
below. I originate 100.100.100.16
from AS16 and it reaches AS19.
R16---eBGP+send-label--R17---IGP
BGP+send-label-R18-eBGP send-labelR19
AS16
AS17
AS17
I noticed this option today but can not find a real life use for it ?
Anyone using it and might shed some light ?

Many years ago I remeber a PERL/AWK script that could take
cisco part numbers like 34-0918-02 and convert them to part codes
like ws-cac-1300W.
Does anyone know if this script is still availble or if there is something
on CCO that allows you to do the same thing ?
Thanks Regards

Does anyone know of or have a script that will take in a show tech
and extract the part numbers and serial numbers ?
I know Cisco works does this but I want an offline tool that can
extract the information. That will handle things like seeing the
chassis serial numbers and psu from 6500s.
Thanks
Anyone aware of a comerical or open source tool that
can:
1. Collect configs via ssh and or telnet
2. Use a SOCK5 proxy server for the SSH/telnet connection
In our case the each device might have a different SOCKS server
Thanks regards

In the past when I have had events like this depending on the profile
Cisco certainly provided demo kit. Maybe talk to the local account
team they can usually get you demo kit for ~30 days loan.
