strength Fluoride toothpaste that he says should help. He suggests that my

My eyes were so swollen I couldn't recognize myself in the morning hehe.

Not so bad now that I am on Sprycel.
Try cool compresses in the morning.

I have a friend out in Nevada who alerted me to the problem with
Gleevec affecting teeth. They have a member of their church who was
on Gleevec about a year or more and his teeth started to crumble. She
said he was taken off of Gleevec, but did not say what he went on.
I've been taking Gleevec
I was on Gleevec for 3 1/2 years and then Sprycel for about 2years, I
have never been to the dentist in my entire life (23years) until just
this month and only have one cavity cause by my wisdome tooh. The
cavity was so small that I didnt even need any Novocaine to numb it.
So with that being said,

several teeth that started to crumble...I went to the dentist several times and
they gave me special fluoride tooth paste to use at home, but it did not seem

I'm on Gleevec (4yr) and have noticed a definite change in the health
of my teeth. Since all of the CML drugs are similar kinase
inhibitors, it would not be surprising if they shared that kind of
side effect. My onc doesn't think it's related, but it sometimes
takes a while for these kind
I have been on Tasigna for two years. I go to the dentist twice a year
and have not had a cavity in the time I've been on Tasigna. Please keep us
posted on your progress, and if you find out that Tasigna has had anything
to do with your problem.
