everything else on the market for
CML with no success.
I am now 75 and thanks to God, family, and numerous medical staff I have been
around long enough to have become a grandfather.
Very best wishes to everyone in their battle with cancer.

Hi Zavie and family.
We have been together for over 10 years on our CML trails, and the web site
created by Zavie and others has been my primary site to gain information.
We have never met, but prayer are with you my friend.

the treatment with Gleevec
was four small 100 mg pills.
Now let's just hope that everyone with CML is able to celebrate their
ten year anniversary sometime in the future.

I fully anticipate that a true cure will be developed sometime in the

Gleevec continues to work absolutely great for me, and life is good.
Good luck.

y can provide you with both
information and support. A great site to secure a lot of information
is www.cancer.gov.
Good luck to both of you, and as caregiver you need to get some rest
occasionally as you don't need to "burn out" and not be available for
foot problems with just another potential side effect from long
term use of Gleevec, but it is manageable. We are all so different
that we have to approach side effects differently, and if one solution
does not work we need to keep searching for an answer.
Good luck.
eads these
discussions will start or continue volunteering to help others
throughout the entire year. There are others who need help and you
will also benefit yourself.
Best wishes,
Ken, cancer survivor since 1998.

Hi,
The new food supplement found in the cooler section at grocery stores
called Activia has proven very effective for me. It is also available
at Sams and Costco at a reduced price.
Good luck.

Gleevec has worked wonderfully for me and CML cannot be detected by
PCR. Life is good!
Just be very careful in the use of Interferon as it does have very
negative effects in some patients.
The very best wishes on your CML journey, and may life be good to you.

for Gleevec, and I have finally been able to stop the
Milk of Magnesia every night. As the Dannon company who produces the
product says, if it does not work after two weeks they will refund your
money. While we are all different, it has proved to be a great product
for me.
